I know that most authors use a headshot for something like this but in my case it just didn't seem right. There is no way I could have finished this book, let alone be working on the follow-up, without my support system. My wife Anna acted as my editor and put her stamp on every single chapter before it went to print and my dad James was the first person to buy it and handed out copies to all his friends. They are just as big of a part of this world as I am and they deserve to be seen.

I am 33 years old and Elemental Touch is my first book although I've been writing since I was a child. When I started writing this I honestly had no idea where the story was going but as it started to unfold and found my characters doing things and saying things that even I didn't expect them to it felt more and more like these characters were real people and now I feel like that's the strongest aspect of this book. 

What I did know right from the start is that I wanted to write something magical but grounded in reality with no clear heroes or villains. I feel like I accomplished that and simultaneously created something that fun to read with a lot of twists and turns with plenty of room to grow and I'm really excited to see where this series goes.
